Valentine's day is coming!!

It was the 15th of January yesterday.

LOFT reminded me that Valentine's day was coming!
HOW SO?
Well. In Japan, it has been customary that on Valentine's day GIRLS have to give the BOYS they like chocolate, well to hint like neon-lights on the streets of Hong Kong at night that "I LIKE YOU" >.<
talk about being subtle.
hehe.well, something uniquely Japanese eh.
After that, if the girl receives chocolate back from the guy, then.. You get married and have 10 babies! :P
hahaha. nah, just innocent crushes la hor.
But anyway, just like the great Singapore sale atmosphere..where things get a little too overwhelming..
There were...

INSTANT CHOCOLATE MIXES - foundue chocolate, chocolate truffle, chocolate cookie..

MORE INSTANT CHOCOLATE MIXES...

BAKING ESSENTIALS FOR MAKING INSTANT CHOCOLATES.

AND MOREEEEEE CHOCLATE EVERYWHERE!!! (EH LOOK LIKE OUR NTUC'S ROWS AND ROWS OF GARDENIA BREAD HOR? :p)

BUT THEN. all instant chocolate mixes...

AND I CONCLUDE.--

PLAY CHEAT ONE!!!

Taiwan, Hongkong and Singapore in San-jyou! :)

Went to 三条 yesterday wth Vivian and B!

楽しみね!^^ -> just one of the obscenely few Japanese i know. >.<

B's thumb is up because of..

AND YES!, it is as good as it looks ^^ haha. The sauce is American enough in flavour though not spicy enough. But, one shouldn't ask so much for 350yen !

Make a guess where we were! ^^

After (barely) filling our bellies. Look at the size of the 350yen BAGA! We went to Matsumoto Kiyoshi and i spent like 5000yen there. (read: dearest papa and mama, i'm sorry! :P )

Afterwhich we went to LOFT!

Anyway, loft is a departmental life store that stocks everything from "things that you wouldn't ever need in your life but its just too cute to resist from buying" to "daily essentials sold at exorbitant prices and these are the same essentials u can buy from 100yen shop."

In essence, its a cool and kawaii! place to spend or waste some time. (:

anyway i found dim-sum or steamed birds and octopus there

HEHE. BERY CUTE HOR. (^.^)**

but look closely lah, its actually 2 birds and a tako enjoying some On-sen. haha.

Must be Japanese bird and Japanese ocotopus.

Singapore came! ^^

*ringring*

"Hello! I'm the guardman, do u speak Japanese?"

Me: "yes, i do."

Guardman: "okay, please come downstairs to collect your package"

(-_-")

Even the guardman don't wanna practice Japanese with me.

But, anyway.. guess what came in the mail last night?

<3

Singapore came ^^

Thank you so much my dearest family!

Oh! Fried Onion came too ^^

But fishball, char tou kuey, fried fish bee hoon and black pepper crab didn't. :(

hehe, but these will keep me happy for now ^^

I'm coming home soon!

By the way my flight back home will cost me close to S$1000; Dominic told me that his ticket from Osaka to FRANKFURT on EMIRATES will cost him only S$1200.

LIEW.

Since when we became so far from Japan huh?

Oh, and it'll take me more than 10 hrs to reach home.

*deadpans*

Hope Cathy Pacific is a good way to fly. ^^

I'm coming back home!~~~~

Presentation of the year!

Done with my presentation for my Japanese Garden Design class.

Anyways, come to think of it ah, how come my group can do on the Artichectural design of Beijing Olympic Games Venues ah?

A) How did they think of it? - Not even remotely near the objective of the course. READ: The Meaning of Japanese Garden Design. - Its not even remotely Japanese and neither is it anything close to a garden!!!
B)How did my teacher approved our research theme?
But oh, never mind, or in Jit-pun: dai-jyoooo-buuuu..

For my class "The Meaning of Japanese Garden Design" i'm doing a presentation on...

The Beijing National Aquatics Centre aka The Watercube YEAY! =.=

Essentially what i learnt from this course and from doing this presentation can be summed up in 6 words:

"The watercube looks like VIVOCITY HOR?"

wakakakakkaka!

And something else interesting..

Each of us is allocated 1 minute to present our chosen architecture's design.

Not bad eh?

Crash course to 1 minute presentations:

Rule number one: Don't breathe

Rule number two: Don't you dare ummmm..erm...ehhhhh..ehhhhtooo..

Rule number three: Don't breathe

Rule number four: there is no such thing as a comma, fullstop or a breath.

Rule number five: If u forget your presentation speech. Just tell the audience your name, class, birthdate and your lao-bei and lao-bu's name, breathe 2x and then it'll all be over.

Not bad hor?

Japan rocks!

My Japanese family ^^

Today i met with my host family again..

was horribly late because i took the wrong train from Kyoto JR station.

Instead of taking the normal/sub-express train..

I took the SUPER-UWON'TBELIEVEHOWFASTITISTILLUSITIT DUPER YOEXPRESS TRAIN!!

DIEDED.

Liew, the train was going sooooooooooo freaking fast, i freaking understood at that point why Japanese people choose to sleep on trains.

CLOSE YOUR EYES AND THE F1 RIDE WILL BE OVER SOOOOOOOONNNNN!!!

YAR!! IT GO SO FAST, I CAN IMAGINE THAT IF I PUKE, IT'LL LEAVE A TRAIL BEHIND ME...

BLEAH!!

i'm not going complain about our MRT anymore..60+km/h is good for meee and all the ah-pek and ah-ma alike.

ANYWAY, THE SUPER-EXPRESS TRAIN DIDN'T STOP FOR 6 STOPS AND I ENDED UP IN THIS PLACE IN OSAKA!!!

i almost cried lah. :( cos the Japanese people don't understand my Japanese and when they do, i don't understand what they trying to tell meeee...

KNN.

finally i found my way to Katsuragawa from Takatsuki (i'll nv forget this name for as long as i liveeee~!)

By then, i was already late for more than an hour..anyway, main point is that i've found them and i was still alive but badly frightened like a lost puppy! (HAHAHA. =.=)
MY HOST FAMILY..

paiseh, she look a little bit like ailen here but i assuer u in reality shes really really lovely and cute! ^^

Chirou-chan!

But today, Kotaro and Irie-papa was not home so Irie-Mama invited some of her friends along and here we are..

It was a lovely day and Irie-mama ended the ladies (uh-hmmph, that includes me) chit-chat session by playing the piano for us. ^^ Enjoyed myself greatly despite the bad initial start! Demo, eat, drink and be merry!

eh, my hair nice bo? hahahaha. :D

Have to do my presentation for my Japanese Garden design now! That is if i can drag my arse to go about doing it.

same old brand but new me. :P

After reading my previous post, i decided to start doing something to change my image, to celebrate me turning 22. (hurray. -_-")
To reduce the list of my grievances, i have taken things into my own hands and change my image for a bit.
Sui boh?
BLAH!

Turning 22.

Siao eh,

Woke up this year a few times with the dreadful a.k.a kanasai reminder than i am 22 years old officially lah.

Though my birthday is in november, no one will give me face and say i'm 21 because of that. Hence, i decided to calmy accept this FACT of life.

22 years old............................

why my hair still like when i was 16 years old....

为什么!!!!!!

why my weight still never decrease one.

why the stoopid baby-fat on my face won't go away one. (or is it not babyfat???.. :( )

why my Japanese standard still like my cantonese standard?? (cannot make it..)

why i still have acne one?? still puberty meh??????

why i still cannot convert effectively from YEN to RMB; instead must convert from YEN to SG$ to RMB.

why oh why i still like to eat POCKY?

why i still like to eat so much???

why i still look the same as when i was 16 years old???

why people still guess my age as 28????!!!???

**snorts**

turning 22 years old. sian, don't like also must accept.

LIFE.

blah.
